NAHO Pass It On: flu shot information campaign

  • The flu is a common respiratory illness affecting millions of Canadians each year.
  • First Nations, Inuit and Métis are encouraged to talk to their health care providers about getting flu shot information. It could be an important part of keeping your community healthy.
  • The flu shot is free and it's available to you.
  • Talk to your family and health care providers to make sure the flu shot is right for you.
  • This information campaign was created from the ground up with direct involvement of First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Using an innovative approach with focus groups, ads have been created for our community that speak to their environment and reality.
  • The Pass It On information campaign uses audio, video and posters combined to give options to communities promoting the flu shot.
